Communications Planning for Museums

Consulting Service
Every museum is unique, and through its collection, it shares stories of different places, cultures and people through culture and heritage objects and recorded past experiences.
Sharing those stories can help audiences understand their place in society and connect better with each other and the world around them.

Communication plans can help share those stories by asking the following questions:
-
What message do you need to communicate to meet a project's goal?
-
Who do you need to communicate with?
-
When do you need to communicate your message?
-
What communication channels will you use to share your message?
-
How will you measure the success of your communication?

Next Steps
Contact me to receive a Consultation Form or to discuss how we can work together on your museum communications and share the museum's message effectively and meaningfully to your audience.

Cost

As every project is tailored, there is not a set project cost. I will provide you with an estimated cost in the Project Plan: Statement of Work. The first payment will be due at the halfway point of the project and the last payment after the project has been completed.
What happens once you have submitted the Consultation Form?
Step 1Â
Project Plan: Statement of WorkÂ
You receive a tailored Project Plan: Statement of Work document based on the information you submitted in the form and my research and analysis. This document will be sent to you within 2 - 5 business days from when you submitted the form.
Step 2
Project AgreementÂ
When you accept the Project Plan: Statement of Work, we can move ahead with the project. You will receive a Project Agreement document to formalise the project.
Step 3
Project Call
You will receive a phone/video call from me at the start of the project to discuss the next steps. Progress emails throughout the project will provide you with updates and the opportunity for you to give feedback or ask questions
Step 4
Project Completion and Acceptance
The project is complete, and you receive a Project Acceptance document to finalise its completion.
I look forward to seeing how we can work together. If you have any questions about the Consultation Form or the project process, please do not hesitate to contact me.
